Why Be With a Man That...

He is successful and rich. He is smart and he is a very good conversationalist. He is articulate and independent.

He likes me but he is also very much married.

Yes, he sends signals that he wants to ask me out. He called me his "soulmate" at one point.

 HOWEVER

The mere fact he thinks he has a chance means he doesn't think very highly of me. Otherwise, why will he even think I would remotely entertain the thought of going out with a married guy?

Then I realize that there are women who actually go out with married men. It just astounds me that there are men who would want to go out with women who disrespect themselves enough yogi out with married men.

"Why weren't I born in the 90s?" I was with a friend for over 6 hours yesterday and we did talk about a whole lot of things but that was the thing I remember the most. She was talking about this hot guy who was in his mid-20s and she is in her mid 30s. She can't help but envy those college student who has a "chance" with the guy. Let me get something clear. This hot guy she was talking about is an international celebrity. Not that you can't dream big, look at Katie Holmes. There is also David Beckham who declared he was going to marry Posh Spice when he was still unknown. Then there's Carolyn Bessett who told her friend she will marry JFK Jr. someday.  As bad of an example as it may be, the truth is that there is still some sort of standards when it comes to dreaming big in this sense.

Jabbawockeez, Ben Chung and America's Best Dance Crew

America's Best Dance Crew is back after 5 years of absence and it inspired to make a come back to my unfortunately abandoned blog. I am not a dancer. Although I can certainly move to the groove I am far from being graceful. It is, however, ABDC that inspired my appreciation of hiphop as a dance. Season 8 brings together the past champions from almost every season including Super Cr3w, Quest Crew, Elektrolytes, I Am Me, And We Are Heroes. Kinjaz is the 6th group composed of different choreographers in the industry including a Jabbawockeez, Ben Chung. From a marketing perspective, there is no better way to bring back a TV show but to pull in marketing aces they have in every season. After all, most, if not all, of these groups have developed a loyal following brought about by their success after their ABDC stint. I am truly amazed that someone is reading this blog. Not only that, someone bothered to email and ask me a question.
